Pieces in a decor schemeThe homeowners have many good reasons to be proud of their sprawling Manila house. They are precious reasons: Cambodian antique silver, paintings, Chinese blue and white, screens beautiful vases, ivory pieces, an antique lamp and intricately designed cabinets. The objects are made valuable by the fact that they have been with the family for generations; most of the items come with a batch of pleasant memories – theirs is a treasure house. A most valuable grouping: Breakfast nook made more inviting by plants, Rich upholstery makes setting both cozy and chic, dining area is formal enough but friendly, a tone set by the combination of fine cutlery and cane chairs and indoor plants go very well earth tones in one section of the living room.

Kitchen

The lady of the house who is an excellent cook’s, paid particular attention to the kitchen. The designer had to do some modifications and careful re-designing. There had to be a breakfast corner with the fridge within easy reach and not too far away from the dining area. The fridge has been built into a cabinet with lots of storage space on the sides and at the top. The sink had to be moved to the yard area with space for the washing machine. Plus, a cooker in the corner’s (with hood) overhead cabinets and a lot of spaces.
